Cycle of Reincarnation – A Conversation with Gordon Downie

K: (listening to old 70s tunes and then hear his voice distinctly) Listen to you singing. I love it. Such strong energy.

G: (nods in greeting) Good morning.

K: Good morning! I know you’re eager to channel, but I have to balance some stuff.

G: It’s okay. Everything is as it should be. I’m here. I’m not going anywhere.

K: Cool. I do have to apologize to you.

G: Why’s that?

K: Because I forgot your image in the collage.

G: Miss. Kim…you don’t have room in the collage for everyone that gathers here, or didn’t you know that?

K: I’m kind of getting the feeling.

G: It doesn’t matter. Just the fact that we can sit together is enough for me.

K: Did you show me the topic of discussion on purpose? Because when I saw the image…which I won’t post because I’m already on the verge of copyright crap…

G: (nods and chuckles)

K: I was very, very drawn to the image and felt like there was some explanation needed. That it wasn’t so cut and dry.

G: Ya…yes. (nods in a large motion)

K: Cool. So…the image that I saw was one of reincarnation and the process of that which I felt was very limited.

G: There are a lot of branches…as I’m learning…to that whole thing and I thought, well…let’s try to conceptualize something because the afterlife or what people term as “Heaven” (finger quote) is…it’s such a huge question mark. No one really knows but no one really knows because the immensity of it can’t be conceptualized. Energy is conceptualized in a very limited way and people who die, get that right away. It’s this sudden realization that everything is nothing and nothing is everything.

K: Is that the same as a near death experience?

G: That’s only part of the way so it’s even smaller for those near deathers than it is for someone who’s going all the way into that stage of their evolution or their cycle.

K: Some spirits…it’s almost like the cycle of death and life is old news, we’re doing this again, this is the most normal thing in the world…we aren’t even going to take a breath before diving back in.

G: (chuckles) I know some.

K: What’s a breath? Can you give me a time frame…sort of?

G: Uh…maybe…five to ten years.

K: Wow.

G: And that breath isn’t just for specific…for a specific group of whoever it is. That’s for anyone that wants an immediate repeat, but it doesn’t have to be earth. It can be any incarnation on any planet or existence that would have that similar experience.

K: Got it. Because this image concentrates on earth.

G: Because people of earth are looking at it, but you saw the comments. It doesn’t always have to be earth. Earth is pretty subjective but to so many people, it’s the only inhabited world. For sure. It’s all about the…level or the amount of awareness someone wants or has.

K: For sure. Okay…well, I guess I’ll just go through it, and we’ll chat.

G: Absolutely.

K: The image labels earth…it shows this planet being 3^rd dimensional. Within that…there’s just so much.

G: (looks confused) How old is this image?

K: More than ten years.

G: That explains it then.

K: Let’s just say…there are a few dimensions playing out on this planet right now. There are people existing in the 3^rd, 4^th, and even 5^th.

G: Honesty is best.

K: So, when death happens, the physical vessel…and, for all intents and purposes…let’s just talk about people.

G: Good idea.

K: People leave the physical body and then they go into the astral.

G: And that even depends on the soul…wow…(laughs) this could really be a book.

K: I’m sure someone has written on it before. Shall we keep it general?

G: Oh yeah.

K: The person goes to the astral and the image calls this the lower mental plane.

G: Yeah…(shifts to get comfortable and leans forward a bit) The ego still exists in some way at this stage. When a person…in general…dies…they still carry the ego with them on some level so this is the level that a person would shed that ego.

K: And I think that people get hung up on the timing of this.

G: Yes. I mean, in general, it’s pretty immediate. You know how you channel information on someone…someone asks about another person that has died, right?

K: Yes.

G: And you…personally you…take this huge breath and you tell them that it feels easier to breathe…you can finally take a breath.

K: That is what I say.

G: This is where people tend to be able to feel like they can finally breathe…where they can finally take a really big breath. It’s like…in life…to compare the life…it felt like you couldn’t breathe…you couldn’t take that breath. It was heavy and dense. As the person sheds the ego or…better yet…integrates the ego which is also just a way to say they absorb their life experience because here, that’s what the ego is. It’s part of the life experience…this stage is where the energy feels like it’s growing and it really feels like the person is taking that first breath in death like a baby would take their first breath in life.

K: Wow!

G: It’s a really big and crazy integration. Shedding is the wrong word. The ego isn’t shed. The ego is the experience, and it’s integrated within that current of energy that is never destroyed.

K: Amazing!!!

G: It’s very cool.

K: Okay, next is a gateway where there’s a big reunion.

G: Yes. To put something very clearly…this can happen in the astral. The process isn’t so cut and dry. Because…(thinks) in all honestly, you don’t do this process alone. Sometimes a person is met by one…sometimes ten so depending on how this all happens…this gateway can be on the astral or when someone is ready to go all the way.

K: Circling back to the near death…is that just the astral?

G: Yes. That’s more so the astral “level” (finger quote) and not all the way. There are a lot of things that can happen on the astral level that can feel like someone is all the way in but the astral is more like…(laughs)

K: What?

G: When someone who’s in the hazmat suit leaves a toxic situation…enviroment and before they can come out of that, they have to go and get rinsed off…decontaminated…I think it’s like that. The astral is the de-contamination area…is that a word? (laughs) In a really great way. No negative connotations at all.

K: (laughing) Good to know. So…the reunion can happen in both…areas…language makes this really difficult.

G: Yeah. It does.

K: Then the image shows the post life review.

G: Always a good time.

K: I mean…there are so many people who share this information so I’m not going to go heavily into it. Literally…this is where people get the most nervous…even thinking about it.

G: I know. Like it’s the big judgment.

K: Tony had done a channel a long time ago where he talked about it, and he said something like…if you don’t want a big life review of check and balances…or we think that’s the case…

G: Yes.

K: Live your life in a way that you feel good about what you’re living.

G: And that’s the thing. If a person is out to live in a way that they accept their faults and apologize and forgive and love…and it doesn’t have to be in huge ways. It can be in the everyday…put that best foot forward…own mistakes…all that stuff…then, when you have the opportunity to experience your life through how others saw you, it’s all good. It’s like the biggest A.A. meeting…ever. Make amends or say the things you feel you need to say…before the end. That’s the biggest regret of people. What they did and didn’t do or say…say more so.

K: For sure. I’ve seen that firsthand. Then, after the biggest A.A. meeting…there’s the healing and restoration part.

G: (nods his head in a way that he’s not convinced)

K: What?

G: Again. It depends. If someone has had a lot happen to them in their life…what some would consider “bad” (finger quote)…that happens in the de-contamination area. It has to. People don’t want to carry that with them as a weighted chain into all of the reunions and reviews.

K: Got it. That’s nice to know. I was always shown that those who had it harder, were always wrapped and swaddled in a blanket and placed on God’s chest in a way to comfort them from some sort of nightmare.

G: The symbolism of that is very accurate. Yes. A person is allowed a few moments to find their breath again…like I was saying.

K: That is so awesome…so comforting to know.

G: It’s beautiful. It really is. And there are more people that have that happen than what others would assume. Because you have to remember, it’s not always what a person shows to the external. It’s what people are living with, inside…the thoughts and the emotions they carry with them that sometimes…not a lot of people are privy to when they interact with them. People are really good at hiding what they’re really going through, truly going through.

K: Dying inside and wearing a smile.

G: Absolutely. I wish that wouldn’t happen.

K: Me too, my friend. Me too. How long does the healing and restoration phase take place at this stage.

G: It can last years. It really can. There is no timeline. There is no rush.

K: Amazing.

G: People can linger here for centuries. Because this is where a lot of the life…within this energy…is lived. People just want to live in this stage of the game because…it’s just life. This is where they can build and create and do all the things they’ve always wanted to do. This is where they can come and go freely into existences that are “physical”. This is where mediums can pick up on them very easily. This is where a spirit…energy…can coexist with the physical incarnated life in some way, shape, or form.

K: That makes a lot of sense.

G: Sometimes, spirits will exist at this level until those that are still living their lives…incarnated…that they are connected with…they return to spirit so they can decide, together, what’s the next step. It’s in that movie…What Dreams May Come where the husband and wife are reunited, and they decide together to incarnate together and find each other again.

K: Wow!

G: This part can be years…centuries. Especially if those that have died, reunite with a spirit on this plane and they want to live this existence together in some way for a few lifetimes. It’s up to the spirit and the various connections they have in any and all incarnations.

K: So beautiful.

G: Like I said, this process isn’t rushed. This is where a spirit would decide…when they feel ready…when it’s the right moment…to reincarnate.

K: Is there study before then? Because the next stage says the life between lives. But the way you’re talking…that happens in the restoration area.

G: Like I said…it’s not all cut and dry. It’s all jumbled and can happen all at the same time. But yes, there is a chance to do some schooling before returning or choosing another incarnation. Especially if a lot of time has passed.

K: I would hope so.

G: This is also where…depending on where someone is going to incarnate…which reality…what can they bring with them from here and what can be utilized and what can’t. This is where you see a lot of starseeds…witches…earth angel energies decide…what can they remember and what talents and abilities they can open in that life. This is where the really valid and important connections are made. Like in the movie…they were soulmates, so the soulmates get together and decide if this is the life…the one they’re thinking about jumping into…or is it more fitting for a different life…a different time and place.

K: It’s like where the business plan is done before the business can open.

G: (laughs and points to me) Exactly. It’s exactly like that.

K: And then a person would make the final selection. They would jump in and buy that house…make that big purchase after researching.

G: Exactly.

K: And then the jump.

G: And then the jump.

K: And we do it all over again.

G: Round and round we go…where it stops…no one knows. (wags his eyebrows)

K: And I feel so good having this better understanding and that it’s not necessarily set in stone. I love the fact that I can live some sort of existence in heaven before I make the choice to return. Because I used to see…well…still do but I did channel everything that I saw…I don’t do that anymore.

G: I think it’s amazing that you would channel the worlds that you saw when you had a conversation. This chair on a stage (looking at the chair and around where he is)…it’s not…I understand why.

K: Yeah. Maybe one day we’ll talk in your world.

G: I’ll show you my world. But I do like the loft. Do you still go to the loft?

K: I catch glimpses, but I think I cut myself off from that because of…so many reasons. Too many to mention here.

G: I think you’re good to see that again. It’s so cool to be there.

K: It’s a great meeting place and it is so great to have this talk with you because I feel so validated.

G: That’s what I was hoping for. I wanted to give that to you. (gestures towards me) Merry Christmas.

K: Dear God! I’m so over that. Don’t need it. Thanks anyway.

G: (chuckles) Beyond that now, are you?

K: All of us are. The kids talked with me about it. I totally get it.

G: Yeah…me too. If anything, holidays are just a chance…an excuse to reconnect.

K: For sure. (nodding in agreement) Thank you so much, Gord. I really appreciate you doing this with me.

G: It’s been cool. It really is such a pleasure. Thank you, Kim. I appreciate you.

K: I appreciate you too. Chat soon?

G: At the loft. (points to me)

K: I will give it an honest try.

G: Good. See you there, then.

K: (laughs) I didn’t think of you as bossy.

G: (grins)
