The Principle of Mentalism-A Conversation with Paul walker

P: How come, when I want to sit with you and talk, you’re pulled in...(shakes his fingers at me) a million and one directions? It’s quiet, I come in and then...literally...pulled everywhere.

K: I can’t help it. I haven’t been able to help it since May. Sorry your majesty.

P: (ignoring what I’m saying) I’m just out here, floatin’ around...bored.

K: Give me a break…please. Just…blah. You are not bored. If anything...where the hell have you been?

P: (thinks) Not the point.

K: Oh...but I think it is. Especially...you know...May of...

P: Okay, okay. You win.

K: Coward.

P: A little. You scare me.

K: (rolling eyes)

P: (chuckles) Cougar. (winks)

K: Oh yeah. Totally the cougar. In my hoodie and yoga pants. This is hot stuff right here.

P: (stares)

K: Anyway, (not a big fan of the stare down) I was going down memory lane a bit, getting ready for this event that I’m going to.

P: Oh yeah?

K: Like you don’t know.

P: I really don’t. I was away on business...you just called me out for it.

K: How come, when I want to talk, you’re away on business. Every time.

P: Because...it happens and we have fought and talked...all about this, Mrs. Don’t poke at me today. I’m trying to be patient with your 911 calls.

K: You’re the sweetest. (sarcastic)

P: You taught me all about that. My sarcasm is off the charts since knowing you. What were you remembering?

K: Just a connection you have that I forgot about.

P: Oh yeah?

K: Yep.

P: So, share.

K: Thoth and Sarah.

P: (he seems surprised that I even mention it because it’s somewhat huge) Yeah. That’s a big one.

K: You ever heard of only child syndrome?

P: (leans back and crosses an ankle over a knee) You’re gonna accuse me of having only child syndrome?

K: If the shoe fits.

P: FYI genius, I was the oldest of multiple kids.

K: Sure.

He rubs his hands over his face and groans.

P: I’m having second thoughts about coming today.

K: Just today or the last few days? (stop him before he has a chance to answer) Thoth has been around a lot.

P: I know. Means something big is comin’.

K: Feels like it. He’s leaving breadcrumbs.

P: Are you following them?

K: When I can. Sort of out of body lately so following has been hard.

P: Alot of people have been out of body lately.

K: For sure.

Another interruption after a slew of interruptions. I have a feeling this talk might not happen.

P: Seriously, Kim. Okay...(stands) I’m gonna run and check on...whatever, (changes his mind and sits back down) I’ll stay. I like lookin’ at you anyway.

K: Get over yourself. I’ll be right back.

It’s true. I’m being pulled in a million and one directions, and this has been so much lately that I haven’t been able to spend much time with spirit…for months. It’s been frustrating.

K: Okay, Diva...divo...

P: (chuckles)

K: I have 45 minutes. Let’s go.

P: I want to do a series of talks so thanks for taking the hint.

K: I’m game but...

P: I know. Time. It’s all good. I’ll join Thoth in getting those breadcrumbs to you.

K: It’s like...there is this information about things from other lifetimes but they’re just on the surface of a memory. I feel like Anastasia...that movie where she’s singing Once Upon a December.

P: Yeah.

K: Anyway...you like philosophy, right?

P: I do. I’m a big fan.

K: I honestly feel like this series needs to be your personal…ghost take on it. Did you show me The Kybalion? Because I knew about the Emerald Tablets.

P: It wasn’t just me.

K: I don’t really have the time to read the text.

P: No one’s asking you to.

K: I would love to.

P: Look, I’d like to share the principles...from how I feel about them if that’s cool.

K: That’s cool. We can start with the principle of mentalism. I read that the Principle of Mentalism is the idea that all reality is mental and that the mind is the fundamental creative force in the universe.

P: (rubs at his bottom lip) You’re gonna have to slow down, Kim. This isn’t a race. We’ll just talk. Time doesn’t exist here so just...let it drop. Let me in. Just let it drop. It’s just you and me. Nothing else.

K: (taking a breath) I feel like I’ve been in a rush since May.

P: I know.

K: When I read that...we’ve talked about the difference between the brain and the mind, for us anyway, I think that needs to be differentiated because the two are…connected but different sort of entities.

P: I think we’ve done that before. I really think it would be a rehash. Was it the blog or...?

K: I can’t remember. Maybe a letter?

P: Okay...well, (shifts in his seat and gently pats the arms of the chair in a rhythm) a good way to think about the difference between the brain and the mind is the brain is this...cling wrap over the mind. It’s the ground above the archeological finds. It’s what has to be pierced to get to the good stuff...the meat of something.

K: Nice wording.

P: Maybe I should say fat. I mean the actual brain…

K: Got it.

P: I mean, people need to sort of visualize it.

K: Okay. I’m sure they are.

P: (grins) The brain is the surface; the mind is what’s hiding beneath the surface and sometimes the brain can grasp what the mind has or what the mind grows but it’s not always. It’s like a flower pops up in a field of grass. There isn’t any other flower around but the one. It’s like that. Now, when you have a field of flowers...that person has experience using the mind over the brain. They are the people that know that thoughts are just temporary, but wisdom is eternal. The brain...it’s just grass or dirt or concrete. That’s sort of a good way to think of it. The mind is eternal…it connects to the eternal. It’s the gateway.

K: Pineal?

P: Exactly.

K: That’s actually really great.

P: The pineal gland isn’t on the surface of the brain. It’s the seed inside. A person can’t channel or get insights or forethought or...any of that stuff...they can’t meditate with the surface level, clingwrap...mental thought overload that people tend to have...most of the time. The clingwrap of the brain is...it’s like these thoughts of checklists or...spiraling in thoughts until they become a story or that inner critic...that’s the clingwrap of the brain. The mind...it’s the substance that is being hidden beneath all of that and to get to that substance, a person has to understand that thoughts are temporary...nothing is the end of the world and they need to be able to turn that off so that the deeper voice...because the mind is where the deep...voice that sounds like Morgan Freeman...you know...the voice with substance...

K: Yes.

P: That’s where it lives. It’s the voice that...even if you hear it...internally...the vibration you can feel in your chest because the mind connects with the heart. Automatically, when you feel the mind and heart connect, you feel it in the center of your chest and it’s sort of that heavy...comforting weight.

K: You’re giving it to me now. It feels like...it just feels like love...big and deep love. Ocean deep.

P: Because the mind and the heart go deep. They go to the center of the earth if you let them and when you do let them, there is a lot of wisdom that can come up from allowing that…naturally. If a person’s in a rush to explore that, psychedelics are generally used.

K: Ah…interesting…I’ve always wanted to…

P: Off the table, Kim. Not the right time.

K: Damn it! Not you too!

P: Sorry Mrs.

K: Whatever. Fine. I know…I might…open the gates of hell or something.

P: One never knows what you will open without knowing. Like the no-fly zones. Remember those?

K: Vividly. So, the mind and heart…together is the wisdom...that’s what you talk about.

P: Exactly. So, when you read that the mind is the fundamental creative force of the universe, it’s because the mind is what’s creating. It’s not the thinking of the brain. When you talk to someone who has written...philosophized...you know...done the math. Those deep ways of thinking, pondering...knowing...you can see it on them. Because the brain...that’s anxiety. That’s those eyes shifting left and right in a nervous gesture…not really knowing what to believe. The mind...it’s sitting where time doesn’t exist and it’s writing and it’s standing back and observing. It’s because nothing that lasts is created half-fast. Something with longevity or something that is remembered from other lifetimes...whatever...that’s slow and intentional and that’s how creation works. Creation works with the intentional. It doesn’t work with...someone needs it easier or they’re desperate for something so the first thought in their brain they put action behind and it’s...it’s for those who want to be disappointed and aren’t in it for the long game. Instant gratification is the brain…the thinking brain.

K: I see that.

P: Hermetic philosophy still exists today because it was dived into and established with the mind. I’m a big fan of Marcus Aurelius.

K: I know.

P: His writing exists today because it was, partly, what he learned in his day…week, whatever that he pondered and took wisdom out of...a wisdom that whatever this and that experience was trying to show him. That’s very different than someone reacting to an experience and playing the blame/shame game with it.

K: Yes.

P: So really, if you’re talking about the mind creating...then it is the mental that’s creating in this physical world, but the mental isn’t the thinking. The mental is the wisdom of experiencing which is creating all things.

K: What about this whole concept of thought creates reality?

P: Thought is different than thinking. Thinking is the clingwrap of the brain. Thought is the underground.

K: But it’s, basically, the same word.

P: And now you understand why I have always had a problem with language. After I died…language became real frustrating.

K: No...I know. I understood how you felt and still do because when I’m channeling...sometimes the words don’t come easily with what I see. Language doesn’t do it justice.

P: Yeah. I know. And sometimes I can’t use words to talk to you because words just don’t cut it.

K: For sure. What about…people say be careful with your thoughts because they’ll manifest...

P: Okay...(leans forward and thinks) That’s not 100% true. It’s a truth that people have grabbed onto and refuse to let go but it’s not exactly true. Yes, people think...they take action...sometimes things get created like that but, in all honestly, it becomes...experimental because it doesn’t really stick. Another point about thinking things into existence is...it has a lot to do with be careful what you wish for because if you’re asking for something and there’s a life lesson in there that your guides want you to learn, you’ll get it and if it’s that surface level thing...it’s like a parent wanting to teach their kid...you really want it? And the kid says...yeah...yeah...I want it, and the kid gets it but then there’s a certain amount of responsibility with it or...too much too soon...that kid’s gonna cry about it but the parents know…they really know and they use it as a teaching tool. Same with adults who think they want something. You see it a lot of that with wishing for fame. People want to be famous but when it happens...they rarely think through...what fame really means. Sometimes there are regrets. Sometimes they just want things to go back to normal. I wish I could explain this better than what I am.

K: No…I totally get it. I understand. I can also see...oh man...I’m struggling too.

P: Yeah.

K: It’s like...a person gets mad at someone, and they think and think and think...they snowball in thought until it turns into this narrative, right? About the other person? But it becomes believable.

P: (snaps his fingers and wags a finger at me) I see where you’re going.

K: And they start to resent and they wish this person wasn’t their friend or their spouse or their...whatever.

P: Keep going.

K: And then, this other person leaves or...dies or...whatever the case may be. And the person that is snowballing in thoughts, because they got irritated with something one day...this reality that they wanted where this friend or boyfriend left them...broke up with them...the snowballer is heartbroken because they didn’t realize what they had until it was gone. So, their thinking created the reality of this person that they actually loved...to be gone from their life in however that manifested.

P: Yeah...exactly and the thinking...it’s not creating. The thinking is the energy that someone puts out to the world and they wear it like a cloak around themselves and what people rarely understand is that they might not see the cloak they wear but others do and others can read those invisible words on that cloak...through picking up on that energy of their snowball thoughts...through that vibration that those thinking brains are creating and it can either attract or repel. Most times, the overthinking, repels what is meant to connect and grow and ends up attracting what the overthinker really needs to get their hearts around. Worst case…it turns into abandonment issues.

K: I literally can see this in my connections around me. Sort of like...someone starts a job but doesn’t want to do this part of the job and they think and think and think about what they don’t want and it happens and they get stuck with what they were scared to do in the first place.

P: Yes. But here’s the questions...is that reality?

K: Well, they’re living that reality?

P: No...they’re building a program around themselves in a video game that is the earth experience.

K: Oh boy. You were talking about this the other day.

P: Yes. The thinking feeds the matrix...the illusion because the thinking is about the illusion. The thoughts...(points to his temple) aren’t about the illusion. It’s deeper than that. It’s where the crown meets the root and everything around that. It’s gaining wisdom and that wisdom is beyond the illusion of the matrix. It’s what’s called truth...it taps into truth and truth is what creation is built on. It’ s not creating. Thought is creation. Thinking is creating. The two are the same but very different. Another way to look at it is...thinking...3D. Thought...5D...6D...it’s evolution. Thinking is spinning your wheels. It’s the revolving door.

K: Wow. Then...it’s perspective but the principle is the same either way. It’s just…what has longevity or what falls flat. What feeds the heart and soul and what just feeds ego.

P: And that’s the duality...which we’ll get into...at some point.

K: Wow.

P: And I don’t want to spend too much time on this. I mean...It’s a series I want to do but, in all honesty, it’s pretty simple.

K: I think people struggle with the idea that philosophy or these principles are actually really simple truths. I think they want them to be bigger...more...profound.

P: The things that are profound aren’t tangled in the hard...impossible...only for smart people. They walk hand in hand with the simple because truth is simple. Lies...it’s covering this and making sure you cover that, and this has to make sense for this to be believable, right?

K: Right.

P: Lies become a big ball of lies all kneaded together like dough.

K: (laughing)

P: Like people having affairs. They lie...they lie more...get a cover story...all of it. But the simple truth is...you’re not happy in the marriage so just leave it. I mean...I know it’s more complicated than that, but you get it.

K: I do.

P: Thinking though...not fundamental because it’s not based on the fundamental. It’s based on what’s going on at any given minute of any given day. The fundamental isn’t passing...it’s not fleeting. It’s the groundwork life is laid out on, and it’s built from there. Not only that but what’s built...reaches far out and far below and creates that biofield around a person that connects to it all.

K: Then it’s that subtle difference between thought and thinking...creation and creating.

P: Which is so...(pinches thumb and pointer finger together) it’s so small.

K: Well, this series should be fun.

P: Short and sweet. I’ll try.

K: Me too but short and sweet…I mean, once I get going…

P: Me too. Because I love this stuff.

K: I love you.

P: I love you too.

K: Where are you off to next?

P: No plans for a while so you got me for a while.

K: Won’t say no.

P: Didn’t think you would. Okay, Mrs. Go get it.

K: I will. Don’t have that much of a choice so…chat soon?

P: Yep.
